Maliah Leisek
Studio Owner
Instructor

Ever since I can remember I have always had a dream of owning my own dance studio. A place where any child can come and feel safe, produce joy away from anything that they have going on in their life. I love sharing my love and passion for dance and watching my students have their ah-ha moments and celebrating with them.

I have been dancing since I was 3 years old in the genres Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Hip hop, Ballet, Musical Theater, Technique and Acro. While I was competing I would attend dance class for 15-24 hours every week, and I loved every hour of it.During those years I would compete and attend many conventions such as Velocity, Radix, Hollywood Vibe, Jump, 24/7, NUVO, Dancerpalooza, Monsters, 541, Acting For Dancers, and Idtv. I have had the pleasure of working with some of my favorite choreographers such as Travis Wall, Shannon Mather, Ade Obayomi, Napoleon and Tabitha, Brian Friedman, Chaz Buzan, Talia Favia, Tessandra Chaves, Misha Gabriel,Tony Bellissimo, Matt Aylward, Phi Nguyen, and David Moore. Choreographers who I have also had the honor of working with at my home studio are Kyle Hanagami, Mark Goodman, David Moore, Marty Kudelka and Ivan Koumaev. Some of my solo pieces have been choreographed by Dee Caspary, Olivia CeCe, Sarah Brinson and Jalex Brinson.

While dancing I would also assist teaching classes. After graduating I spent two years teaching and choreographing all styles of dance for recreation and competion pieces. Now my dream has finally come true of opening my own studio and I am so excited for this journey!
